WE ARE COMMITTED TO OUR MEMBERS
"Clearly, all who come to Beth El can see that we are committed to our opening doors to all
who seek the beauty of Jewish life in a way that is meaningful to them," said synagogue
president Susan Sieber.
We are excited about the unlimited possibilities not only for the growth of the synagogue,
but also for the growth and happiness of our members. Beth El is a remarkably loving
congregation because we are committed to one another and to the community in which we

WE ARE GROWING!
Beth El is a vibrant community of young adults, empty nesters and honored seniors.
We recently moved to our beautiful new location at 124 South Pomperaug Avenue in
Woodbury because we needed more space to accommodate our members and expand our
wonderful programs, such as our popular family-style Shabbat Dinners. The Beth El choir,
led by Cantor Sharon Citrin, welcomes all who wish to raise their voices in prayer and song.
The standing-room-only crowd at the Dedication of our new location, and the Open House
the following Sunday, tells us that we are answering a need in the community… and many
determined to join the synagogue on-the-spot.
THE CHAI CENTER FOR JEWISH LIFE - FOR CHILDREN
We are also looking forward to the September 6 opening of the CHAI Center for Jewish
Life and Learning.
At CHAI, we don't just teach about Judaism. We teach Jewish life through engaging
experiential lessons. Our children learn more than the basic skills - they learn the beauty of
our tradition that adds meaning and depth to their lives. Our twice-monthly family-oriented
sessions offer hands-on learning for the family and provide support for parents. And
because we are committed to making Jewish life accessible, we will welcome 3- 5-year-olds
to our Sunday sessions at no cost. Click HERE for Information about CHAI, our philosophy,
tuition information and discounts for siblings. Membership is not required for the first year
of religious school enrollment.
